Before you hit apply, understand the invisible filter standing between your CV and a human recruiter.
An Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is software used by 98% of Fortune 500 companies β and the majority of mid-size employers β to automatically screen incoming CVs before a recruiter ever sees them.
The system parses your CV, extracts skills, job titles, and keywords, then scores how well your profile matches the job description. CVs that fall below the threshold are filtered out automatically β regardless of how qualified you actually are.
AuraCV scores your CV from 0β100 against the target role. Here's what each range tells you.
Your CV is very unlikely to pass ATS filters. Critical keywords are missing, the role alignment is weak, or formatting issues are causing parsing failures. A significant rewrite targeting this specific role is needed.
Some keyword overlap exists but the match is inconsistent. You may pass basic filters at larger companies with loose thresholds, but competitive roles with many applicants will likely screen you out. Targeted improvements can move you into the next band quickly.
You're in the zone where most ATS systems will pass your application through to a recruiter. The core requirements are well covered. Fine-tuning language and adding missing secondary keywords can push you into the Strong tier.
Excellent alignment. Your CV speaks the same language as the job description. You're likely to rank at or near the top of the shortlist presented to the recruiter, giving you the best possible chance of an interview invitation.
Even if a company's official cut-off is 70, recruiters are typically shown ranked lists. A score of 88 appears above a score of 72 β so your application gets read first, gets more time, and is far more likely to generate a call. In competitive markets with hundreds of applicants, the difference between 68 and 86 is often the difference between silence and an interview.
AuraCV's goal is to help you hit that 85+ threshold for every application you submit, not with a generic CV, but with one precisely tuned to each specific role.
